Intro
Warren Buffett is well known in investing world and is known as the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Everyone will follow the Oracle of Omaha in a heartbeat. He is known for its value investing strategy. Wells Fargo Co (Ticker: WFC) is also another long term holding in Berkshire Hathaway portfolio. Wells Fargo is one of the largest financial bank holding companies. Through its subsidiaries, the company provides banking, insurance, trust and investments, mortgage banking, investment banking, retail banking, brokerage and consumer finance through banking stores, the internet online and other distribution channels to individuals, businesses and institutions. It also offers a retail brokerage subsidiary and a real estate investment trust.
3. American Express
American Express (Ticker: AXP) is a diversified financial services company, with worldwide operations and a strong brand name. It is a significant player in charge and credit card products, and travel-related services worldwide. The company is primarily organized in 2 groups, the Global Consumer Group and the Global Business-to-Business Group. American Express sells its products and services to various customer groups including consumers, small businesses, middle-market companies, large corporations and banking and financial institutions through various channels such as direct mail, online applications, sales forces and direct response advertising.
4. Procter & Gamble Co
The Procter & Gamble Co (Ticker: PG) is amongst the world’s largest consumer product companies, boasting of an array of well known brands including Gillette, Bounty, Charmin, Crest, Olay, Pampers, Pantene, Pringles, and Tide amongst others. The firm, established in 1905, has a wide selection of beauty, healthcare, food and household products including cosmetics, shaving products, personal health care, pet care, snacks, laundry products, batteries, and diapers. It sells its products in more than 180 countries around the world.
5. Kraft Foods Inc
Kraft Foods is one of the leading manufacturers and marketers of packaged food and grocery products worldwide. The Kraft’s products include snacks, beverages, cheese, convenient meals, and various packaged grocery products. The company’s brands include Kraft cheeses, dinners and dressings; Oscar Mayer meats; Philadelphia, cream cheese; Maxwell House and Jacobs coffee; Nabisco cookies and crackers and its Oreo cookie brand; Milka chocolates; and LU biscuits. It also acquired Cadbury.
